A Season of Transition: Honoring One Sister’s Next Step

This week in our Phase 11 journey, we are exploring faulty beliefs—the untrue stories trauma plants in us that shape how we see ourselves, God, and the world. In God’s mercy, we are learning to let go of those falsehoods and allow His truth, goodness, and beauty to take root instead.

One of our dear sisters has been walking with us for the past six months, and it has been an incredible gift to witness her courage and growth. She came to recognize that one of the faulty beliefs she had held was that she was “okay,” even though her trauma had affected far more areas of her life than she had realized. Through reflection and prayer, she bravely named those places where trauma had hooked into her heart and mind, and then surrendered them to God’s loving kindness, compassion, mercy, and healing.

Her good nature, laughter, and vibrant energy have lifted all of us. She has been a source of encouragement, a reminder of joy even in the midst of deep work, and a living testimony that healing is possible.

As she now takes her next step into deeper work, we celebrate her faith and her willingness to continue saying “yes” to God’s transforming love. While we will miss her presence in our weekly gatherings, she remains in our prayers and in our hearts. We trust that God will continue to do amazing things in her life, and that her warmth and encouragement will bless others in the same way it has blessed us.

This is not a farewell, but a blessing for the road ahead: may she continue to walk in the light of God’s truth and discover even greater freedom and peace.
