  • Lead With Us

    God doesn’t call the perfect

    He calls the willing

Phasing Out of Trauma is built by women who have walked through pain, healing,

and hope—and want to help others do the same.

If you’ve ever felt a quiet nudge that your story could make a difference, this might be that moment.

Whether you feel ready to lead a group, mentor another woman, or lend a helping hand behind the scenes,

    your “yes” can change lives.

Who  We're Looking For

Our leaders and volunteers come from all walks of life, but you might recognize her when you see her:

  • She’s walked through suffering and is no longer defined by it.

  • She has compassion, gentleness, and wisdom to walk with others.

  • She listens deeply, asks good questions, and encourages freely.

  • She shows up even when life is hard.

  • She feels called to serve but hasn’t known where to begin.

You don’t have to be fully healed—you just have to be honest, humble, and willing.

Ways to Lead or Serve

Become a Group Leader

Help create safe spaces where women can share, heal, and grow in faith together.

Whether you want to be a leader of our General Meeting, or one of our Cohort Meetings, we welcome you.

Leading With Us in a General Meeting

  • Join a Leadership Team of at least three women who serve together in unity and grace.

  • Share Your Availability so we can schedule you for meetings that fit your season of life.

  • Lead When You’re Able, trusting that consistency matters more than perfection.

  • Guide Women Through Phase Introductions each month, helping them understand the heart of each part in the healing journey.

  • Facilitate Teaching Moments that help women grow in understanding of our trauma and faith integration.

  • Open Gentle Conversations around key trauma topics, creating safety, compassion, and reflection.

  • Lead Spiritual Practices that invite women to experience God’s presence in their healing process.

Leading With Us in a Cohort Group

  • Co-Lead With Another Woman as you walk together in faith and purpose.

  • Begin at Phase 1 by guiding a small, closed group through a 3-month healing journey.

  • Facilitate Resource Reflections that help participants engage deeply with each week’s readings and practices.

  • Encourage Story Exploration by creating a safe space for women to share and process their experiences.

  • Model Authenticity by sharing your own journey and insights as you feel led.

  • Empower Women to Choose Their Soul Work each week based on where God is meeting them.

  • Celebrate Growth Together and help women discern their next step at the close of the 3-month cohort.

Become a Mentor

Mentorship is one of the most personal and impactful ways to walk alongside another woman in her healing journey. As a mentor, you become a steady presence—someone who listens without judgment, offers encouragement, and helps another woman see how God is at work in her story.

Your Role as a Mentor

  • Meet One-on-One with your mentee weekly or biweekly to reflect, pray, and process each phase together.

  • Listen Deeply and Compassionately, helping her identify themes, emotions, and spiritual insights that emerge through her healing.

  • Encourage Growth at Her Pace, honoring that each woman’s journey with trauma and faith unfolds differently.

  • Integrate Faith and Reflection, using the Mentor–Mentee Weekly Rhythm Sheet and Weekly Grace Notes as tools for accountability and care.

  • Stay Connected and Supported through monthly mentor huddles, prayer gatherings, and continued training.

Become a Volunteer

Not everyone is called to lead a group or mentor one-on-one—but every woman has gifts that can bring healing and hope to others.
When you volunteer with Phasing Out of Trauma, you become part of a movement of women creating safe, sacred spaces where God restores what trauma has broken.

Your time, presence, and heart matter. Whether you serve once a month or every week, your contribution helps women feel seen, supported, and loved.
